Tom  is a life long resident of Rootstown, Ohio which is located in Portage County.  He graduated from Rootstown High School.  Thomas graduated from the University of Akron with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and the University of Akron School of Law.

Tom is married to Megan, a high school history teacher, and they have two daughters, Brynn and Brooke.  Tom is a member of the Portage County and Ohio Bar Associations and is licensed to practice in all Municipal, Common Pleas, Juvenile and Probate Courts in the State of Ohio in addition to U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
